My name it's Tatjana, I'm 48 years old, and I live to Genoa, Italy. This isn’t my first experience volonteering, but Kolkata is something  extraordinary.  It is not easy to find words to describe what I have experienced while volunteering internationally for 42 days in India. An experience  so moving .. that helped me realize that we can be happy with so little.

In my mind, Volunteering is the best way to explore the world and learn about its different cultures. It teaches you to look at the world through different eyes, opening them to new wonders.

The love and compassion with which we interacted with special need children is indeed remarkable.

My international volunteering experience has completely changed my life: I am eagerly awaiting to go back to India as soon as possible to continue to help those in need. 

I would highly recommend to everybody, only for one time,  to spending time in a country of such poverty where the people are happy with nothing. 

I am indeed fortunate that life gift to me this experience and   

I still hearing prayer and singing to sister in my time dreams to Kolkata. Everywhere I will be, you will be for ever in my heart.
